Bond's Providence Logbook Oct 24, 1791

Remarks &c 24th October 1791

 1 pm: Moderate breezes and hazy weather.

 4 pm: Hauled down your steering sails.

 8 pm: Moderate and cloudy, shortened sail for the Assistant

12 mid: Hazy and heavy dew falling.

 4 am: Set steering sails

 6 am: Saw several Sheerwaters.

 8 am: Cleaned below and aired the ship with fires. Served Pearl Barley, Portable Soup, and Borecole in the soup for Dinner.

12 noon: Broached a puncheon of Spruce beer. Moderate breezes and cloudy.
   Latitude Observed 28°·37′ South
