Bond's Providence Logbook Oct 20, 1791

Remarks &c 20th October 1791

 1 pm: Moderate breezes and cloudy with a long swell from the Westward.

 6 pm: Squally.

 8 pm: Fresh breezes and cloudy weather

10 pm: Very dark to the SE.

12 mid: Moderate and cloudy, made & shortened sail occasionally for the Assistant.

 4 am: Fresh breezes and fine clear weather. The swell much fallen.

 8 am: Light breezes and cloudy, washed the Gun deck and cleaned the Orlop and Cockpits. Armourer working at the Forge.

11 am: At 11 down the lower and Top Mast Steering sails. Broached a puncheon of Spruce Beer.

12 noon: Light breezes and fine open, cloudy weather. Assistant in company.
   Latitude Observed 26°.34′ South
