Bond's Providence Logbook Oct 12, 1791

Remarks &c 12th October 1791

 1 pm: Fresh breezes and fine weather made & shortened sail occasionally

 8 pm: Carried away, & fitted again, the the Main Top Gallant tye

10 pm: By an Eclipse of the Moon with a common refracting telescope I made the Longitude

 3 am: Saw a Man of War bird

 4 am: Fresh breezes with dark flying clouds.

 5 am: Squally.

 8 am: Roused up the small bower cable and cleaned the tiers &c.

12 noon: Moderate and fine weather the Assistant in company
   Latitude Observed 17°·54′ South.
