Bond's Providence Logbook Aug 17, 1791

Remarks &c – Wednesday 17th August 1791

 1 pm: Fine clear weather people employed making Mats &c

 4 pm: Moderate

 8 pm: Light breezes inclinable to calm

12 mid: Employed washing and cleaning the ship fore and aft and making Mats &c

 5 am: One sail in sight in the NE.

 7 am: The Beer being out, served Spirits to the ships company – Pointed the strands of the small Bower cable

 9 am: Employed occasionally

12 noon: Moderate breezes. Assistant in company – all sail out
   Latitude Observed: 42°:15′ North
