Bond's Providence Logbook Aug 15, 1791

Remarks &c Monday 15 August 1791

 1 pm: Light Airs and clear with small rain at times

 4 pm: Two sail in sight

 8 pm: Sent the Jolly boat on board a Portugueze Schooner from St. Ubas bound to Cork laden with salt

10 pm: At 10 Light breezes from the Northward

12 mid: Ditto with rain.

 3 am: Fresh breezes with rain

 5 am: At daylight 2 sail in sight, one in the SE and the other in the SW Quarter – Hazy weather

 6 am: Sat the Driver and Royals

 7 am: Moderate breezes and cloudy

10 am: Employed washing and cleaning the ship fore and aft – Sailmaker Employed.

12 noon: Light airs – Assistant in Company.
   Latitude Observed: 45°.01′ North
