Providence Logbook Jul 13, 1793

Remarks Saturday 13th July 1793 Towards England

 1 pm: Light Breezes and fine Weather with Haze. Opened a Cask of Beef No. 1372 Contents 66 Double Pieces.

 5 pm: Exercised Great Guns and fired.

 6 pm: Worked the Pumps. Sent some Mutton to Lieut. Portlock by a Float and Line.

12 mid: Heavy Dew

 6 am: In lee Steering Sails

 8 am: Foggy Horizon in the North. Exercised Great Guns & fired.

 9 am: Got up all Chests and Bags. Washed and Aired with Fires.

12 noon: Fine Weather Swell from WNW. Assistant, Packet and Ship as Yesterday. Royals and Steering Sails set.
 Served a puncheon of Spruce Beer to the people.
Albecores and some Gulph Weed seen.
