Providence Logbook Jun 29, 1793

Remarks Saturday 29th June 1793 Towards England

 1 pm: Fine Weather. Every day Gulph Weed

 2 pm: Squally with Rain

 4 pm: Fine Weather. Out Reefs. Exercised Great Guns and Small Arms.

 5 pm: Let Fresh Water into the Ship and Ventilated with the Pumps.

 7 pm: In 1st Reefs

10 pm: Squally with some Rain.

12 mid: Fair Weather

 7 am: Served thick Portable Soup Gruel as formerly. Saw a Tropic Bird. Washed Ship below and Aired with Fires. Exercised Great Guns and Small Arms. Carpenters about the Boats and Sailmakers Sails.

12 noon: Fine Weather. Dolphins and other Fish about, some Birds with Black backs and White bellies a species of Gulls. Same as seen about Timor and other places in the South Sea.
  Assistant and Ships as Yesterday.
