1 pm: Fair Weather. Sent the Surgeon by request on board the Brig Mary to see some Sick Men.

 2 pm: Made Sail Cape Antonio SE½S 4 or 5 Miles.

 3 pm: Sent the Assistant in Chase of a Brig which proved to be a Spanish Vessel of War mounting 16 Guns. She would not heave too. Was known by the People on board belonging to the Schooner. They also gave me reason to suppose the Honduras Ships are gone on.
  I determine to proceed—Six days past their time of being here at least.

 8 pm: Lightning

12 mid: In 2nd Reefs. Suppose myself past the Coleradoes.

 6 am: Two Strange Sails in the NNW, the one a Spanish Polacka.

 8 am: Fine Weather. Hot Breakfast daily as usual to the Ships Company.

10 am: Exercised Great Guns and Small Arms. Employed afterwards Washing Cloathes Carpenters repairing the Cutter, Sailmakers the Jib

12 noon: Fine Weather Assistant and Schooner in Company, the other Ships much seperated.
