Providence Logbook Feb 1, 1793

Remarks Friday 1st February 1793 Towards [Jamaica]

 1 pm: Strong Trade and fair Weather with much Haze.

 2 pm: Saw Flying Fish and Sea Weed.

 3 pm: Sold the Effects of Henry Smith and John Thompson.

 5 pm: Let fresh Water into the Ship and Ventilated with the Pumps

 6 am: Served thick Portable Soup Gruel as usual for Breakfast. Portable Soup and Sour Krout in the Pease for Dinner.

 8 am: Cleaned below and Aired with Fires. Served Slops and Tobacco
People employed washing their Clothes.

10 am: Saw Flying Fish, Sea Weed, Tropic and other Sea Birds.

12 noon: Strong Trade and fine Weather with Haze.
   Assistant in Company.
