Providence Logbook Nov 24, 1792

Remarks Saturday 24th November 1792 Towards [Cape of Good Hope]

 1 pm: Moderate and fair Weather at times a little Squally.

 2 pm: Sailmakers repairing the Fore Top Sail.

 4 pm: Fine Weather.

 5 pm: Let fresh Water into the Ship and worked the Pumps.

 6 pm: Saw Albetrosses and Sheerwaters.

 2 am: Squally and much Head Sea.

 6 am: Fair Weather. Albetrosses and Sheerwaters.

 7 am: Served thick Portable Soup Gruel for Breakfast. Sour Krout with their Beef and Pudding for Dinner.

 9 am: Employed getting every thing up from below, Washing & cleaning Ship. Dried with Fires.

12 noon: Fine Weather. Assistant in Company.

Column of Latitude and Dead Reckoning is found from the Mean of the Observations Yesterday and to Day.
