Providence Logbook Oct 28, 1792

Remarks Sunday 28th October 1792

 1 pm: Fresh Gales and Cloudy Weather with Haze.

 2 pm: People employed Washing & mending their Clothes.

 5 pm: Let fresh Water into the Ship and worked the Pumps as usual.

12 mid: Squalley with light sprinkling Rain.

 2 am: Strong Breezes and Fair Weather

 5 am: Set lower Steering Sail

 6 am: Served thick Portable Soup Gruel for Breakfast. Sour Krout and Portable Soup in the Pease for Dinner.

 8 am: Cleaned below and Aired with Fires. Mustered in Divisions and saw every Person clean dressed. Performed Divine Service.

11 am: Flying Fish seen.

12 noon: Fresh Gale and Fine Weather
  Assistant in Company. Keeps good way with us.
