Providence Logbook Oct 19, 1792

Remarks Friday 19th October 1792

 1 pm: Fresh Breezes and fair Weather with Haze.

 5 pm: Worked the Pumps as usual.

 6 pm: Fresh Gales in Steering Sails and first Reefs

12 mid: Ditto Weather and Cloudy

 5 am: Set Lower and Fore Topmast Steering Sail.

 8 am: Fair Weather and Cloudy with haze. Hot Breakfast as usual, and Portable Soup.

 9 am: Cleaned below and Aired with Fires. Saw Tropic Birds, Men of War Birds, Flying Fish, Porpoises & brown Sheerwaters. Bent the old Top Sails. Hands making nettings for the Plants.

12 noon: Strong Trade and Fair Weather with Haze and Cloudy.
   Assistant in Company.
