Providence Logbook Aug 24, 1792

Remarks Friday 24th August 1792

 1 pm: Fair Weather and Hazy

 5 pm: Worked the Pumps Saw a Gannett Booby

 7 pm: In Studding Sails and shortned Sail.

 8 pm: Fine Night.

 1 am: Many Tropic Birds heard

 5 am: Fresh Breezes and fair Weather. Saw a Man of War and Tropic Birds. Made Sail.

 7 am: Served Hot breakfast as usual and Portable Soup and Krout in the Pease for Dinner.

 9 am: Employed Cleaning below and washing with boiling water to kill Cockroaches.

10 am: Exercised Small Arms. Saw a branch of a Tree.

12 noon: Fresh Gale and Fair Weather with Haze.
   Assistant in Company
