Providence Logbook Aug 13, 1792

Remarks Monday 13th August 1792

 1 pm: Fair Weather got all Wet things spread to dry.

 6 pm: Worked the Pumps as usual. In 1st. Reefs and set Fore Top Mast Studding Sail.

10 pm: Showers of small Rain and dark Cloudy Weather

 5 am: Set Royals and Top Gallant Studding Sails.

 7 am: Served thick Portable Soup for Breakfast.

 8 am: Moderate and fair Weather. Cleaned below, Got up all Wet things to dry.

 9 am: Exercised Great Guns and Small Arms and fired
Aired below with Fires.

12 noon: Cloudy and unsettled Weather. No Observation. Served Bore Cole and Portable Soup thickned with Oatmeal for Dinner
  Sortned Sail it threatning a heavy Squall & Shift of Wind
   Assistant in Company
