Providence Logbook Jul 23, 1792

Remarks Monday 23rd July 1792 Towards [Whytootackee]

 1 pm: Light Winds and Cloudy Weather. Gave clean Hammocks to the People.

 6 pm: Let fresh Water into the Ship and worked the Pumps as usual.

 8 pm: In lower and Top Gallant Steering Sails.

 4 am: Calms and Light Airs.

 6 am: Scrubbed the 1st. Divisions Hammocks. Served Fresh Pork 1½ pound per Man and as much Plantains as they chuse

 8 am: Fixed the outer Best Bower Cable for an outer Small Bower. Stowed away the old Small Bower for future Service & bent a new Cable for the outer Best Bower.

10 am: Carpenters repairing the Small Cutter

12 noon: Light Airs & fine Weather. Assistant in Company
  Our Plants are doing very well, they are in charming order.
