Providence Logbook Jul 22, 1792

Remarks Sunday 22nd July 1792 [Towards] Whytootackee

 1 pm: Fresh Trade and fair Weather. Employed mending and washing Clothes.

 3 pm: Thirteen fathoms of the Small Bower being unfit for use, cut off and bent the Cable a new.

 5 pm: Let fresh Water into the Ship and worked the Pumps to Ventilate the Hold.

 8 pm: Shortned Sail to Double Reefed Top Sails.

11 pm: Very Squally. In 3rd Reefs

 1 am: Very Cloudy

 6 am: Out all Reefs and set Steering Sails.

 7 am: Saw two Whales, Flying Fish, a Man of War Bird and some Tropic Birds

 9 am: Cleaned Ship. Mustered and saw every person clean dressed and performed Divine Service.

11 am: Served fresh Meat &c as usual.

12 noon: Light Winds & Cloudy Weather but got tolerable Observation
  Assistant in Company, and out Sails us
   Plants in fine Order.
