Providence Logbook Mar 26, 1792

Remarks Monday 26th March 1792 Towards Otaheite

 1 pm: Light Breezes and fair Weather Great Swell from the SW - Saw Some Sheerwaters and a few Albetrosses.—

 4 pm: Cloudy Weather

 6 pm: Worked the Pumps as usual –

 7 pm: In 1st. Reefs.–

12 mid: Fresh Breezes and Cloudy. Fire all night to Air the Ship.—

 6 am: Unbent the Old Main Top Gallant Sail and bent the best.—

 8 am: Served thick Portable Soupt Gruel for Breakfast – Krout & Sweet Wort. – Bore Cole and Portable Soup thicned with oatmeal for Dinner. — Exercised Great Guns & Small Arms Marines fired – In 2nd. Reefs Top Sails.—

12 noon: Thick Rainy Weather with Squalls. Served Vinegar to the Ships Company as customary on this day
