1 pm: Dark and Cloudy Weather

 2 pm: Saw a School of Porpoises

 5 pm: Let fresh Water into the Ship and worked the pumps as usual. —

 7 pm: In 1st. Reefs

 8 am: Served a Hot breakfast of Portable Soup Gruel vinegar a pint per Man – Krout and Sweet Wort as usual, and Bore Cole mixed with Portable Soup for Dinner, this being banyan day. —

11 am: Washed Ship and Aired with Fires – Exercised at Small Arms. —

12 noon: A Continuance of Dark Cloudy Weather – a few Albetrosses, Sheerwaters & Mother Careys Chicken — All Sails Set.
