Remarks Tuesday 1st November 1791

 1 pm: Fresh Breezes & Cloudy A swell from the Southward

 4 pm: Unbent the Fore Top Gallant Sail and bent the New One, after scrubbing it in Salt Water

 6 pm: Shortned Sail for the Assistant

 8 pm: In 1st. Reef Main & 2nd Reef Fore Topsail the Wind increasing and thick Rain

12 mid: Fresh Gale. Fires all Night to Air Ship

 4 am: Heavy Rain

 6 am: In 2nd Reef Main Topsail

 8 am: Wind and Rain ceased, ↦ the Wind shifted suddenly & the Weather cleared.—
Up all Wet Cloaths – Cleaned and dried with Fires —

11 am: Out Reefs and set Studding Sails

12 noon: Fresh Gale and fair Weather Albetrosses Petterels and Sheerwaters, Pintada Birds
   Carpenters Caulking Gun Deck
