Providence Logbook Sep 17, 1791

Remarks Saturday 17th September 1791

 1 pm: Calm and Cloudy Weather with Rain which enabled us to fill 3 puncheons of Water.

 4 pm: Moderate and Cloudy with a Cool Air

 8 pm: Rain at times. In 2nd Reefs

12 am: Light Winds and Cloudy Fires all Night

 2 am: Set Studding Sails and Out Reefs

 8 am: Squally and heavy Rain caught 2 puncheons of Water

10 am: Cleaned and Aired below with Fires, and Dried all Wet Cloaths, & as usual on this Day People employed mending them

12 pm: Light Airs and fair Weather. My Fever abated. Air not so oppressive as might be expected.
