P. 62 - 29 May 1789 Remarks

✓ Variety of High & low land – Hills Woody ✓ Round top Isld. a heep of Stones—left it– Got to Restoration Point a ½ Mile from it.— ✓ only oysters & Perrywinkles. — no Inhabitants but signs of having been ✓ here.– Saw two wigwams weather side ✓ only covered.— ✓ Saw a Pointed Stick as at Adven Bay Wea –pons    ✓ Dug for water among some wire grass abt. 200 yds- SE of Restoration point in a ✓ hollow found very good.— Found a [?] sufficient to water the Ship ✓ abt. ½ Mile more to the eastd coming from ✓ the Hills ✓ Cut down Palm Tree Tops & found the part next the Tree good eating & did well ✓ to mix with our dinner Stew. — ✓ Tryed Fern Roots but found them in- ✓ different.  ✓ Saw fresh marks of Kangoroo & beleive many are here ✓ Saw a few old peices of Cocoa Nutts ✓ so they must be on the Main. — ✓ Kind of [?] Grape – Berrys something ✓ like Boillums – Red Berries on a tender ✓ Vine– all eat ✓ Toa Tree – Mangeneel – Species of the Purow Stoney Surface & sandy Soil.— ✓ Parrots, Pidgeons, Doves & other Birds. —
