Bounty Logbook Aug 2-5, 1789

Remarks at Coupang Sunday 2^nd. to Wednesday 5^th. August 1789.

Very Fresh Gales East South^ly and Fair Weather. Two Men in the sick List Intermitting Fevers. Employed about the Vessel. On the 4^th my Carpenter finished laying the Deck which has been 27 Days in doing. 5^th Masted the Vessel.

A Chinese Prow came in loaded with Wax and Sandle Wood. which was all landed at their own Stores.

I had some new Fruit procured for me to day called Sow. It is about the size and like a Red Plumb, has a pleasant sweet taste and mealy like a Potatoe. It had four Stone Seeds.
