Fresh breezes with light Winds and Calms in the middle part and Thunder and Lightning, some light Rain. Wind NEBN & ENE. Therr. 80° & 82°.
Cleaned ship and People on leave for their amusement as usual. The weather being Variable and boisterous at sea no Cannoes can go out.
Supplies as usual, and from the constant assuranes of Tynah and Oreepyah that as soon as the weather is fit their Cannoes will go and fetch the deserters, we continue on a good footing, for I realy think it is not probable they would fetch Teturoah without great difficulty and Risk.
I had a message to day from Potatow Erreerahigh of Attahooroo desireing to see me as he was affraid to come to the ship without my attending him. This excuse appeared to me to be a very lame one, however I sent him word that as soon as I got my Deseters from Tetturoah I would see him and that I had some presents for him of consequence. My Friend Poeeno is gone to Itteeah to get me the Bull there, about which I have had long negotiations and cannot yet say how I may succeed.
