which was brought to me and I drank it and wish him a good morning — they did not know what I wear as my dress was an old pr of trousers and a jackit that belong'd the the poor man that was kill'd at Tofoa — after I had got every thing out the Boat and the Boat made fast along side of a small sloop — I walk on the beach, as I as determined to stay by the Boat untill I was order away, at last one of Captn Spikermans people come and told me that I must go to Captn Spikermans House I ask the ,man if the English Captn was there the man told me yes — and all the People — I then

ask the man if the English Captn had told him that every Body was to leave the Boat the man said yes — from this I went up with the man — when I came there I found great preparations for a dinner for us — Mr Bligh said finally — Mr Fryer how do you do, I thank him for his compliments but he was not so good as to introduce me however I turn too and brush myself up when one of the Dutch sailors had found out by some body that was in the Boat what I was and told Captn Spikerman
