going to put your Captn into they told me the Jolly Boat - the Jolly Boat I said would not [? ?] the Bottom was almost eat out with worms. Damn his eyes they said, the Boat is good for [?] him. I then beg'd hard for one of them to go on deck, and ask Mr Christian to let me come up ′ and speak to Captn Bligh before they sent him a drift one of the people call'd up to know if Mr Fryer might come on deck ′ to speak to Captn Bligh - Christain at first said no one of the men was keep to [? ?] he told him that [? ? ?]
