2:00 pm Employed this day cleaning and repairing Hammocks. Working up Junk and Exercising at Small Arms.

6:00 pm In Steering Sails and 1st Reefs.

8:00 pm Fair Weather. Hauled the Fore Sail up.

10:00 pm A few Squalls of Small Rain.

Thursday, Apr. 16, 1789

5:00 am Set the Fore Sail.

6:00 am Fair Weather out Reefs. A tropic Bird seen. Set Steering Sails.

8:00 am Very Hazy, Served fresh Pork & Plantains.

12:00 pm Fair Weather and Hazy. The Plants continue in a fine State.
