Remarks in Toahroah Harbour Sunday 1st February 1789

Cloudy with Calms Lightning and small Rain. Wind ENE & Westerly Thermometer 81° and 83°.

It frequently is the Case that when the Wind is Westerly here it is Easterly at sea, and when it is Calm there is wind without.

Two men on shore every day on leave as usual. Three men in the Venereal List. Sufficient supplies, but less in quantity than usual, there is however still plenty of every thing on Shore.
