Remarks in Toahroah Harbour Thursday 22nd January 1789

Variable Weather with Calms, Rain and Thunder and Lightning. Wind all round the Compass. Thermometer 79° to 81½°.

A very heavy sea breaking all over Matavai Bay and as much on the Reefs here.

Employed occasionally. Sufficient supplies of Hogs Breadfruit and Cocoa nutts as usual. Six Men in the Venereal List.
