1:00 pm Strong Gales and Squally with Rain and dark Cloudy Weather. Much Sea from the Southward

Friday, Jul. 11, 1788

9:00 am Cleaned and dryed below.

12:00 pm Very unsettled weather. The wind moderating, Sea confused and Clouds gathering heavy in the NW. Few Birds about. The Pintada Birds, Albatrosses and Blue Peterels gone, which I find fortells the End of the Southerly Gale, as they keep to the Southward unless blown up to the North.
