Thursday, May. 22, 1788

6:00 am Set Steering Sails.

8:00 am Moderate & Cloudy with flaws of Wind.

9:00 am Got the Anchors over the Bows & Cables bent. Saw a Sail in the South.

11:00 am Rainy Weather. In 1st Reefs.

12:00 pm Ditto Weather. No Observations. Albatrosses, White Peterels like a small Gull with a forked tail and some fish seen. The White Peterel is very seldom far from Land.
