2:00 pm Filled 4 Puncheons with Bread No. 6 Containingg 233 pounds No. 7 229 pounds No. 8 228 pounds No. 9 222 punds.

4:00 pm Examined all hands at Small Arms.

5:00 pm Cloudy

6:00 pm Set all Steering Sails

8:00 pm Fine Weather.

Tuesday, Mar. 4, 1788

12:00 am Moderate & fine Weather. Many Fish seen

6:00 am Fresh Breezes & Cloudy with haze Caught several Bonitos

9:00 am Employed making Points & Cleaning below

10:00 am Saw a Turtle.

12:00 pm Fresh Gales and Cloudy with haze in all Steering Sails & 1st Reefs. Sheerwaters coming about the Ship which is looked on to be a Sign of Wind.
