5:00 pm Caught 5 Dolphins. Tacked. Employed at the Pumps as usual.

8:00 pm Cloudy and a heavy Swell from the SE.

Monday, Feb. 25, 1788

12:00 am Out Reefs & set Steering Sails

6:00 am Squally

7:00 am Could make no Observation for the Variation

9:00 am Fair Weather. Employed about the Rigging & Cleaning below

12:00 pm Fair Weather and Cloudy. all Steering Sails set. a Southerly Swell. very few Birds seen & those only Sheerwaters.
