Moored in Table Bay Cape of Good Hope – [1791]

Friday November 18th

 1 pm: Fresh Gale and fine clear weather

 2 pm: People employed in the Fore Hold & main – Sent the old Fore Topsail on shore to repair – Struck the Lower yards and Top Gallant masts – Sailed a Dutch India Ship for Batavia

 8 pm: Strong Gales with frequent squalls and fine clear weather

10 pm: Strong Gale with hard Squalls

 4 am: Moderate breezes and fine clear weather

 8 am: rove all the running rigging – Swayed up the Lower Yards and Top Gallant Masts Washed the Gun Deck and cleaned the Ship Fore and aft

12 noon: Received fresh Mutton, Bread & greens – Painters about the Ship
