Moored in Table Bay Cape of Good Hope

Monday November 14th

 1 pm: Fresh Breezes and fine clear weather

 4 pm: Moderate weather

 4 am: Light Breezes and cloudy weather Arrived a French Ship with slaves from the Mozambique Passage and an English Whaler

 8 am: Received Mutton, Greens and bread

 9 am: Sent the Launch on shore with spars, Sails &c to erect a Tent to dry the Powder in

11 am: Employed rattling down the Lower and Topmasts rigging, and stowing the 2d Tier of Casks in the fore hold ready for filling – Sailmaker employed about the Sails

12 noon: Moderate and pleasant weather
