Tuesday 11  Moderate breezes & Clear Weather PM made & shortened sail Occasionally to keep in our Station unbent the Fore Staysail People employed upon the rigging & Coiling away the Cables AM Fresh breezes & fine Weather People employed Occasionally Carpenter painting the Launch Sailmaker repairing the Studding sails & Corporal of Marines cleaning Small Arms at Noon Moderate breezes & fine Weather in Company with the Providence

Wednesday 12  Moderate & fine Weather PM Employed as before made & shortened Sail Occasionally to keep in our Station AM Fresh breezes & hazey with a following Sea People Employed as before Sailmaker mending the Middle Staysail at Noon in Company with the Providence

Thursday 13  Moderate breezes & open Cloudy Weather PM People employed upon the Rigging Sailmaker repairing the Sails .. made & shortened Sail Occasionally AM Fresh breezes & open Cloudy Weather with a following Sea People Employed scraping the Quick work & making Matts Boatswain fresh [?] the Buoys at Noon Moderate & fine Weather in Company with the Providence

Friday 14  Moderate breezes & clear Weather PM Employed Occasionally Made & Shortened Sail Occasionally to keep in our Station AM Fresh breezes & hazey got up the Spare Sails to Air also Aired the Signal Flags & People Employed as before ... Stowed away the Sails & Signal Flags at Noon Steady breezes & open Cloudy Weather in Company with the Providence

Saturday 15  Moderate breezes & open Cloudy Weather PM Fresh bent all the Sails served Fishing hooks & lines to the Ships Company at 5 the Providence made the Signal to come within hail answered it & spoke her AM Moderate & hazey Weather made & shortened sail Occasionally to keep in our Station got the Best bower anchor over the Bows & bent the Cable ... Cleaned below & Served Vinegar at Noon Moderate & hazey in Company with the Providence

Sunday 16  Moderate breezes & open Cloudy Weather PM People Employed washing & mending their Cloaths & shifting Hammocks AM Moderate & hazey mad & shortened Sail occasionally Served Portable Soup to the Ships Company at Noon Moderate & hazey in Company with the Providence
