Remarks ☽[Monday] November 26th 1792 H.M.S. Providence

 1 pm: Light Airs & Cloudy Weather. Swell from the SW.

 2 pm: Saw Sheerwaters & brown Albatrosses.

 4 pm: Moderate Breeze & fine Weather

 5 pm: Saw a Shoal of Whales about a Cables Length from the Ship, going to the Northward

 7 pm: In 1st reef of the Topsails

 8 pm: Light Breezes & Cloudy Weather

10 pm: Fine Weather

12 mid: A beautiful Moon light Night.

 1 am: Fancied we saw something white like a Ships sails, but as there was no such thing, it must have been the blowing of Whale or perhaps the reflection of the only

 6 am: Saw several Sea birds.

 8 am: Fine clear Weather

 9 am: Sailmakers repairing the old Fore topsail. Carpenters trimming the Ports. People scraping the Quick-work and Gun Carriages for painting and picking Oakum – Saw two Whales at a Distance & a Portuguese Man of War.

12 noon: At Noon a Light Air & fine Weather
