1 pm: Fresh Breezes and fair Weather Saw some Tropic Birds

 2 pm: People employed upon necessary Duty

 4 pm: Ditto Weather

 5 pm: Worked the Pumps, to sweeten the Ship as usual – Before Dark. Took in Top Gallant Studding sails and 1st reef of the Topsails – Spoke the Assistant – All well on board

 8 pm: Cloudy Weather

10 pm: Shortened and made Sail occasionally to keep the Assistant in her Station

12 mid: Fresh Breezes and cloudy Weather A heavy Dew falling

 4 am: Moon up and fine Night The Watch upon Deck scrubbing their Hammocks – At Day break – Out reefs and made all Sail

 8 am: Fine Weather but very hazey – roused up the Best Bower Cable Scraped and cleaned the Orlop Deck under it and coiled it away again – Sailmakers repairing the Jib And the small Sails

12 noon: At Noon Fresh Breezes & hazey Weather with flying Clouds
