Remarks Tuesday 24th – In the South Sea

 1 pm: Light Airs and fair Weather

 3 pm: Coiled away and bent the Bower Cables

 4 pm: Ditto Weather

 8 pm: Inclinable to Calm – A Fine cloudy Night

 2 am: Sprung up a light Breeze

 6 am: Moderate Breezes and dark cloudy Weather Made more Sail – Morning Watch scrubbing their Hammocks

 8 am: Drizling Rain – In Top Gallant sails

 9 am: At 9 Thick Weather and rainy

10 am: Fresh Gale – In Steering sails & 1st Reefs

11 am: People working up Junk – Set Larboard Steering Sails forward – Fresh Provisions served as before

12 noon: At Noon Fresh Gales & Cloudy Weather
Assistant in Company a Mile ahead.
