 5 pm: Unbent the new and bent the old Foresail.

 6 pm: Worked the Pumps as usual

 7 pm: Before Dark took in the Steering sails

 8 pm: Light Airs and fair Weather inclinable to Calm – A still Swell from the Westward

11 pm: A Fire kept all Night in the Galley as usual

12 mid: Squally Weather In first Reefs

 1 am: Took in Top Gallant sails

 4 am: Moderate Breezes and Cloudy Weather

 5 am: At Day break Made more sail

 6 am: The Watch scrubbing their Hammocks

 8 am: Thick Cloudy Weather Cleaned below

 9 am: The People employed making Points under the Boatswain & the Sailmakers repairing the Fore sail, unbent in the Afternoon.

11 am: Sweet Wort as usual. Spoke the Assistant – All well on board. Saw a few Albatrosses and Sheerwaters. A Cask of Spruce Beer broached and given to the Ships Company instead of Wine
