Saturday 2nd.&emps;First part fresh breezes and fair weather middle part showery, latter part fine weather. PM bent he Main sail, Jibb, and middle staysails. received wood per Launch. AM hauled the Seine with very bad success. Washed the Gun, Orlop, and Cockpit Decks. – [Torial Joss?], and Thomas Baillie deserted

Sunday 3rd. Fresh breezes and fair weather bent Top Gallant Sails and employed clearing for sea. At 5 AM the Pilot took charge of the ship. Weighed the Stream Anchor and steadied her with the Kedge – received water per small Cutter. Hoisted in the Launch. Confined Thomas Austin, Marine, for Insolence to his superior Officer
