Bond's Providence Logbook Jan 27, 1793

Remarks &c Sunday 27th January 1793

 1 pm: People employed washing and mending Clothes received a turn of water per Launch

 4 pm: Moderate breezes and fair weather

 1 am: Henry Smith, Armourer, fell, or jumped overboard. Before the boats could fish him up he sunk into eternal night.

 6 am: Sailed the Apollo of Bristol for Norfolk in Virginias.

 7 am: received a turn of water per Launch. Breakfasted as usual

 9 am: received fresh Beef – Sailmakers repairing sails. Broached a puncheon of Spruce.

12 noon: Ditto Weather
