Bond's Providence Logbook Aug 25, 1792

Remarks &c Saturday 25 August 1792

 1 pm: Fresh breezes and fine weather Exercised Marines at small Arms

 4 pm: People employed variously – some fitting Buoy ropes. Saw flock of birds

 6 pm: Made the Assistant's Signal to come within hail – Shortened sail, and took 2 reefs in the Top Sails – A Booby rested on the ship but did not catch him.

10 pm: Fresh breezes and cloudy

 4 am: Squally

 6 am: Out reefs and made all Sail – Strong breezes

 8 am: Fine weather – Served the usual Breakfast – Washed below Fore & Aft; the beams well to clear the Cockroaches

10 am: Bent the new Main Top Sail

11 am: Served Sour Krout to the people as usual

12 noon: Moderate and fine weather – People employed to wash and mend their clothes – Assistant in company
   Latitude Observed 13°:19′ South
