Bond's Providence Logbook Mar 28, 1792

Remarks &c towards Otaheite 28th March 1792

 1 pm: Moderate breezes and fine weather – Exercised the Quarter Deck Guns

 4 pm: Cloudy

 5 pm: Light breezes and cloudy

 6 pm: In 1st reef Top Sails – handed Mainsail and in Larboard Steering sails

12 mid: Light airs and cloudy weather

 5 am: Made all sail – A swell from the SW – Light breezes and cloudy weather. People had their usual breakfast. Exercised Great Guns & Small Arms as yesterday. Carpenter employed about the Launch and Sailmakers as before – Served Sour Krout and Sweet Wort: with Borecole in the Pease soup – Served Wine to Day. Cleaned below.
