Bond's Providence Logbook Feb 27, 1792

Remarks &c towards Otaheite 27th February 1792

 1 pm: Fresh breezes and cloudy weather

 2 pm: Set Steering Sails

 8 pm: Hauled in the steering sails

12 mid: Moderate breezes and cloudy, kept a Fire in the Galley all night

 3 am: Ditto Weather out reefs & set Steering sails

 5 am: Scrubbed Hammock Cloaths

 8 am: Light breezes and cloudy served the usual Breakfast with Krout and Wort at ½ past 10 O'Clock – A long swell from the SW quarter – Washed below and aired with fires. Served Vinegar to day, being Monday: Also a dinner of Portable Soup & Borecole in thick Gruel which is extremely good. Saw the same kind of birds as yesterday

12 noon: Light breezes and cloudy.
   Latitude Observed 47°:10′ South
