Bond's Providence Logbook Feb 7, 1792

Remarks &c Tuesday 7th February 1792

 1 pm: Fresh breezes and fair weather

 3 pm: Made and shortened sail occasionally for the Assistant – Served out Fishing Gear to part of the Complement

 6 pm: Fresh gales and fair weather – Let in water and pumped it out as usual

 8 pm: Cloudy weather with a heavy Dew falling.

12 mid: Ditto Weather

 4 am: Fresh breezes and cloudy weather

 7 am: Fresh gales and hazy – served the usual Breakfast of Portable Soup and Gruel – Saw several Black fish (small kind of Whale)

 9 am: Cleaned below, and bent the Bower Cables In Top Gallant Sails and 2nd reef Fore Top Sail – the Assistant not able to keep way with us.

12 noon: Fresh breezes and cloudy weather with much haze – Assistant in company.
   Latitude Observed 43°:45′ South
