Bond's Providence Logbook Nov 3, 1791

Remarks &c 3rd November 1791

 1 pm: Moderate breezes and fine fair weather with a westerly swell. Saw a number of Albatrosses and different kinds of Sheerwaters – Up Top Gallant Yards out 3rd. reef Fore and Main Top Sails.

 6 pm: Rove new Tiller ropes

11 pm: Fires all night to air the ship.

12 mid: Cloudy weather made and shortened sail occasionally for the Assistant.

 4 am: Light breezes and fine weather saw a Grampus.

 6 am: A swell from the southward.

 9 am: Washed the Gun Deck and cleaned fore and aft.

10 am: Saw a Cape Hen, Mother Carey's Chicken, and Pintada birds. Set steering sails, royals &c.

12 noon: Light breeze and fair weather. The Brig in company
   Latitude Observed 31°·55′ South
