Bond's Providence Logbook Oct 16, 1791

Remarks &c 16th October 1791

 1 pm: Light airs and fine weather. Saw a number of Dolphin; caught three and hooked others. Saw a brown booby Caught a Shark with several young ones in his body, and a sucking fish sticking to him. Employed this afternoon filling salt water – the Carpenters painting the Pinnace.

 9 pm: Open cloudy weather

 1 am: Light airs and variable from NW to North

 5 am: Light airs and clear.

 8 am: Moderate and cloudy, saw several flying fish.

10 am: Mustered the ships company in Divisions, and Captain Bligh read the Liturgy of the Church.

12 noon: Broached a cask of Spruce beer.
 Assistant in company.
