Bond's Providence Logbook Oct 2, 1791

Remarks &c 2nd October 1791

 1 pm: Moderate breezes and fine weather a great number of fish about the ship.

 3 pm: A swell from the southward

 5 pm: Measured the Log Line and found it right at 46 feet 8 inches to the Knot.

 8 pm: Light breezes and fine weather.

12 mid: A fire in the Galley all night to air the ship.

 2 am: Cloudy

 6 am: A light squall – A number of fish about.

 8 am: Fine weather with a Slight haze – Up all Chests and Bags and washed as usual. Fires in the Cockpits.

10 am: Performed Divine Service.

12 noon: Moderate breezes and fine weather with haze. The Assistant in company.
