Bond's Providence Logbook Aug 21, 1791

Remarks &c. Sunday 20 August 1791

 1 pm: Moderate breezes and hazy

 5 pm: Fresh breezes with small rain at times

10 pm: Light airs

 1 am: Light airs inclinable to a Fog

 3 am: Ditto and foggy – Assistant a ¼ Mile off

 8 am: At 8 thick foggy weather – fired 3 Guns at ½ hour intervals, which was answered by the Assistant – At 10 the fog cleared away & we saw the Brig bearing NEbN about 2 miles distance

11 am: Employed cleaning the ship fore & aft – Mustered the ships company in Divisions.

12 noon: Moderate & hazy – all sail out – Assistant in Company
   Latitude Observed: 39°.06′ North
