Providence Logbook Jul 15, 1793

Remarks Monday 15th July 1793 Towards England

 1 pm: Light Breezes and Cloudy Weather.

 4 pm: Steered to near the Sail in the NE.

 6 pm: She hoisted American Colours. Saw many Porpoises.

 8 pm: Summer Showers.

12 mid: Much Dew

 4 am: Fine Weather. All Sail set. The strange Brig standing to the Eastward

 7 am: Served Breakfast as usual

 8 am: Fine Weather. Employed cleaning below, Exercising at Great Guns, Small Arms and making Wads.

 9 am: Bent the Old Mizen Top Sail & new Mizen Top Mast Stay Sail. Sailmakers Employed mending Steering Sails

12 noon: Fine Weather and Smooth Water. The Assistant, Packet and Ships as Yesterday
